Find us on the second floor, in Suite B. Please note, we are in an older building and do not have elevator access.

We are located in the business complex next to The Flats on University, and behind the Safeway.

Driving Directions: GPS sometimes guides you to the back of the building, make sure you are in the front with all the business sign listings next to each door. 

Parking: There is ample parking in front and in rear of the building, park in any non-reserved space.

Facial appointments:

  • Clients must be ages 16 or older. Minors are required to have a parent/guardian present during service.
  • If your child is under the age of 16 and needs help with skin care, please book a Skin Care Consultation.
  • Age requirements for other services are up to the discretion of the studio. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Spray Tan appointments

  • All-ages allowed for spray tans.
  • Under 18? Minors are required to have a parent/guardian present and in the room during service. Minors are required to wear undergarments while tanning.

We’re all about delivering a fabulous and tailored experience for our amazing clients. Just remember, when you book your appointment, that time is dedicated exclusively to you. Life can be unpredictable, and if you find yourself needing to cancel or reschedule, please give me the courtesy of a 48-hour notice before your fabulous reserved appointment time. Together, let’s make every visit a sensational one!

  • Cancellations / Reschedules that occur less than 48-hours before your appointment will be charged a 50% fee of the scheduled service price.
  • Clients that fail to appear or miss their appointment will be charged a “no show” fee of 50% of the scheduled service price.
  • To secure your appointment with us, we kindly request credit card information upon booking, ensuring a smooth and convenient reservation process. By providing your card information and acknowledging the established policies, you grant Smiley Skin the authority to charge your card in the event of a late arrival, cancellation, or “no show.”
  • Should a payment be declined or unable to be processed, we kindly request that any outstanding balance be settled prior to scheduling any future appointments. In the unlikely event that a client has a history of three “no shows” we regret to inform you that they will no longer be eligible to book appointments with Smiley Skin.
  • We completely understand that unexpected situations can occur, and we always aim to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. However, it is important to emphasize that following this cancellation policy ensures equitable treatment for all our valued clients and enables us to efficiently manage our schedule. Thank you for your understanding and cooperating in this matter, as well as respecting our time together!
  • Please note that a 10-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. Arrivals beyond the grace period, will be rescheduled and will result in a 50% fee of the scheduled service.
  • If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late, and have not contacted us prior to arrival, your appointment will be cancelled, and will result in a fee of 50% of the scheduled service price.
  • If you find yourself running late, please send a text and/or call 703-686-5955.

To maintain a serene and focused environment, Smiley Skin kindly requests that no more than one guest accompanies you to the studio during your appointment; Your guest may wait in the waiting area for you. We regret to inform you that we are unable to accommodate children or animals during your visit.

Creating and maintaining a positive environment is important to us. In line with this, we reserve the right to decline services at our discretion, as we strive to foster a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere for all. Upon arrival, please make sure to silence your phone to ensure a distraction-free environment. Your understanding and cooperation in promoting a positive experience are greatly appreciated.

All services rendered and retail products purchased at Smiley Skin are non-refundable. All sales are final, and exchanges or returns are not available.

Please be aware that products purchased through online 3rd party website retailers are governed by the return policy of those specific websites, as they operate independently from Smiley Skin. For any inquiries regarding product returns or exchanges, we kindly ask you to directly contact the respective company. They will be able to assist you according to their policies. Thank you for your understanding. 

Our inclement weather policy is as follows: We align our schedule with Fairfax County Schools’ closures. If you ever feel unsafe to venture out in the current weather conditions, please send us a text message before your appointment. Your safety is our utmost priority.

Our sick policy is designed with your well-being and the health of our team and other clients in mind. If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of illness, we kindly request that you reschedule your appointment for a later date when you are feeling better. This not only ensures a more comfortable and effective treatment for you but also helps maintain a healthy environment for everyone at our establishment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

We happily accept payments made with VISA, Discover, American Express, and MasterCard.

While we can accommodate cash payments, please note that we are unable to provide change.
